Midori silk dress
Midori is an A shaped dress, in printed silk combined with uni silk and silk and cotton batiste veil. The print is inspired by a stylized Japanese garden. The play on real and origami reinterpreted shapes created the story of the composition. The composition was manually painted by the designer and then digitally processed.
The etymology of Origami is explained by “oru” (meaning “folding”) and “kami” (meaning “paper”) – together meaning “folded paper”. The origami name was adopted in 1880, up until then the art of folding paper was named orikata. The sleeves are made from batiste weil, but one can choose the organza silk material that Paula Herlo chose for her item. For extra-charge, the dress can be made in sizes larger than those available online.

Designer advice
Wear Midori dress with dainty accessories, because the print is highly expressive and there is no need for more colorful accents. The fluid shape is suitable for all body types.
