Luceafarul silk scarf
his work, « Luceafarul » is the poem that has captivated the admiration of all lovers of beauty, thanks to its refined lyricism, complex theme and the encapsulation of the imagination. The complex composition of the scarf features the two planes : the transient human universe and the eternal universe of genius. Next to the main elements that build the atmosphere of the poem, the castle, the driving sea, the « too beautiful » princess, the starry night, there are a multitude of traditional symbols, such as the « sfaditele » (balance), representing the concept of opposites attract, hands on the hips representing seduction, the arch, the sun and the wheatear.
The graphics was manually created in watercolor and ink. The photos were taken in a location important to all of us : The Hall of the Echoing Footsteps, in the University Alexandru Ioan Cuza of Iasi, where the paintings of Sabin Balasa compliment the cosmic beauty of Eminescu’s poem.
The scarf can be customized upon request with the desired names or initials. A card can be included, in blank or with the desired message. The scarf is delivered in golden silk paper packed in a premium black box.

Designer advice
When drawing for the Luceafarul scarf, I was thinking about Eminescu, our beloved poet, and the fairy tales of my childhood, featuring fascinating illustrations by Val Munteanu. With the authentic Romanian spirituality in mind, I was hoping to be able to transpose my creative emotion on silk. The scarf is perfect for lovers of all beautiful things. It can be worn for an evening event, but also in day to day outfits, mixed with uni items featuring the colors of the scarf.
