The Hommage a Tonitza is a delicate scarf inspired by the paintings of Nicolae Tonitza, one of the most important Romanian artists. The composition captures the unique charm of summer mornings in the Romanian countryside, when raw green covers the courtyards and roads, and colourful flowers fill the fields. The portrait of the little girl, dressed in folk clothes and wearing a red scarf on her head, symbolically refers to the innocence of childhood and the summer holidays that seemed never to end. The white apple blossoms symbolise peace and love.
The composition was made on canvas, in acrylic colours, by designer Andreea Tincu, then digitally processed and printed on premium silk.
Each scarf is delivered in a personalised black box and wrapped in gold silk paper.
On request, you can add a greeting card and print it with your name or initials.
