Silk Dress Hommage a Brancusi
The "Hommage a Brancusi" dress is a special edition that celebrates both the genius of the Romanian artist Constantin Brancusi. The graphics of the "Hommage a Brancusi" are intricate, with pictorial interpretations of Constantin Brancusi's most important works. You will recognize "The Kiss," "The Infinite Column," "The Gate of the Kiss," "The Table of Silence," as well as "Miss Pogany." In addition to the works, graphic interpretations of the sketches that led to the final sculptures are included. The dominant shades of the shawl pay homage to the materials representative of Brancusi – wood, stone, bronze, and marble. These are surrounded by the deep blue of the sky, which represents the artist's ideal, as formulated in the famous quote, "I did not want to sculpt the bird, I wanted to sculpt the flight." (C. Brancusi). The composition was manually created by designer Andreea Tincu in acrylic colors, then digitally processed and printed on silk. The dress features a separate lining.
