Poinsettia Scarf
Poinsettia shawl is a special edition scarf, that keeps the feminine classic style specific to designer Andrea Tincu. The contrast between the red flowers and the stylized green fir tree makes you think of warm shades specific for Christmas. The designer stylized the well known and beloved Poinsettia, with an origin story from Mexico. It is said that a poor girl named Pepita was sad because she had no offering for Baby Jesus during the Christmas ceremony, so she picked some weeds and took them to church, filled with shame. However, much to her surprise, the leaves turned to an intense shade or red. Those present were convinced they witnessed a miracle and thus named these plants “Flores de Noche Buena”, which translates to “Flowers of the Holy night”.
The scarf was initially painted by Andrea Tincu in watercolor and then digitally processed.
The scarf is packed in golden silk paper and a gift box, and it also features a free Christmas card for you to write a message on.
Upon request, the scarf can be printed with the desired names or initials.
