I chose to paint Queen Marie's portrait, the flowers she loved and her favourite shade of purple to capture not only the elegance of a queen, but also the sensitivity of a woman who loved Romania. To me, this scarf is an expression of beauty, courage and femininity—a story you can carry close to your heart.
